The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce is your business gateway to the Sumter County community, providing an environment of increased visibility for our members while offering advocacy, networking and advertising opportunities and providing a continuous flow of information on all aspects of the county through established relationships with the government and educational bodies throughout Sumter County.
Our extensive list of benefits includes networking opportunities, like the Chamber Lunch Exchange and First Thursdays where businesses have an opportunity to make new contacts and expand their network. Special events like our Annual Dinner offer an opportunity to recognize businesses that have made a significant contribution to our community, while social networking events like Casino Night offer a chance to entertain clients and build relationships.
Tangible benefits include:
Members also realize special benefits through participation on the Chamber's website:
Your Chamber membership also gives your business valuable direct marketing exposure that includes:
Other chamber benefits, like Chamber Connections and Chamber email updates, keep members informed of activities and help us fulfill our mission to connect business and community. We refer to chamber members only and offer a one-stop location for the Sumter County Community and visitors alike to receive business information, tourism information and relocation packets.
The Chamber provides equal value for larger businesses by keeping them informed of issues within the community, providing opportunities to network and working on quality of life issues that strengthen the community as a whole. Weve recently added Federation Partnership with the US Chamber to our menu of benefits. This allows our business members to enjoy membership in the US Chamber, giving them access to information on important business issues being addressed at a Federal level.
Chamber membership can also mean instant credibility for a business, increasing chances of success during difficult economic times. According to a recent independent study conducted by the Shapiro Group in Atlanta, 63% of consumers are more likely to buy from Chamber Members.
Other benefits are currently under development and will continue to be added as the Chamber grows. Membership investment is based upon the number of full-time personnel that a business employs. To receive more information on Chamber membership and its benefits, please use the contact form on this page or give us a call at the phone number listed above.
