mud run fun

Click the image below to get a sneak peek
of runners on the actual course this weekend.

The Cowboy Crawl Mud Run is a challenging 5-kilometer run with obstacles, surrounded by the natural beauty of a real Florida cattle ranch. It is presented by the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce, Maury Carter Realty and the T&D family of companies.

Runners in the Cowboy Crawl Mud Run will encounter more than 23 challenging obstacles built by many of our area’s top contractors, and live entertainment that will get their tired, muddy bodies moving.

Get down and dirty while overcoming tough obstacles like:
• Barbed wire over a muddy trench.
• Zigging and zagging through a screen maze.
• Climbing walls and hay mounds, and slithering through tunnels.
• Slogging through mud pits, watering troughs and ponds.
• Avoiding being "lasso"ed in the Rope Maze.

All runners and observers are invited to wash off and stay throughout the day for the latest music performed live on stage. Grab a beer or soft drink, enjoy some fine Florida barbecue, and stick around for activities like mud volleyball, mud tug-o-war, keg tossing, cowgirls on stilts, midget cowboys and other performers. On-stage hosts will lead fun games for the crowd. Entertainment is being provided by Garret Lauer Events. There will also be live hosts playing music and encouraging the runners all along the course.

Run for Glory, or just for Fun!

Get this exclusive, custom-designed medal when you cross the finish line.
